HMVA Wine & Jazz Fest, Sun 9/30...and Courier Post article out today!

Good morning, early birds!

You'll have a few hours to catch the worm, cause there's a gig later on this afternoon I wanted to tell you about: Medford's first Autumn Wine & Jazz Festival is happening today from 1-4pm, and I'll be one of the performers dotting Main St with music. I believe I'm on the Stiles/Medford Dentistry porch, but I won't know for sure until I get there and sign in. (Listen for me, and look for the red hair...which is now short!!)

It's the town's first - and hopefully not last - jazz fest, free to attend, but if you want a commemorative glass filled with wine for the day's enjoyment, visit the Historic Medford Village Assocation online, or call 609-714-8811 for details.

Here's the scoop in my own words:

And in other news, the 3rd installment of my year-long press with the Courier Post, covering my first year as a full-time musician, is out in today's paper - pick up a copy and let me know what you think!! The last installment will be in late December, stay tuned for the update.

I would love to see some of you out on Main St in Medford today - and remember, admission to the Festival is free, and open to all ages, the Wine Tasting is an optional bonus.

See you there!

Joann Ellis
